FISH AMBOT TIK
Ingredients:
Pomfret
12 Kashmiri dried Red
Chilies
2tsp Cumin Seeds
6 Garlic Cloves
1tsp turmeric Powder
Salt to Taste
1 Chopped Onion
2 Chopped Tomato
10gms Tamarind Pulp
Water
Oil
2 chopped Green
chilies
Method:
1.
Wash and clean the fish and cut into pieces.
Marinate the fish with salt.

Grind red chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric, tamarind pulp and
garlic into a fine paste using water.
4.
Heat oil in a sauce pan. Sauté onions in the pan
till translucent, add the chopped tomatoes and the green chilies and sauté till
the tomato softens. Add the ground masala and water in the sauce pan and let it simmer in medium heat.
5.
Once the gravy starts boiling reduce the heat and
add the fish and leave it on low flame till the fish is cooked. Check for
seasoning.
6.
Serve hot with boiled rice.
