Aloo Dhaniya Tikki

ALOO DHANIYA TIKKI
Ingredients:
3 Boiled Potatoes
1 teaspoon Cornflour
Oil to fry
1 cup fresh Coriander Leaves [Dhaniya]
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
3 Green Chilies
3 Cloves of Garlic
½ Ginger
3 pieces of Tamarind
120ml Water
A Pinch of Sugar
A Pinch of salt


Method:
-          In a blender add coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, tamarind, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, green chilies, sugar, salt and water. Grind all the ingredients to a fine paste.


-          Mash the boiled potatoes, add the ground coriander mixture and add corn flour and mix. Check for salt.


-          Make small patties [shaped like tikki].

-          Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry till brown in colour.

-          Serve hot .
